Got a question about Wale (pronunciation of his name.)

I remember a video on a radio show or wherever it probably was with sway , long long time ago before he blew up , where he said that his name originally is spoken out "walie" and that when he signed to Interscope Jimmy or some dude from the leadership told him to stick with "waley" like everyboy is sayin today ,  to make it sound more official , and that some people that are close to him still say wallie.

I told that a friend of mine and he doesnt believe me , and i searched for the video for so long and i cant find it.

Like i said its at least 5 years old. ..can anybody hit me up with that? would be nice.

you guys got it it wrong it wasnt a radio show it was like i press conference , like game did when DA and LAX came out , there they spoke about that ..and in that break up song they say Wal ...E ..and not wallie in the beginin. And Games Advocate that shit happens when somebody gets big and suddenly everybody is on their dick, you dig? its the same with Kendrick. we gotta accept that buddy and cant change that buddy :)
