IVE BEEN A MEMBER OF TIG SINCE IT OPENED UP JUST WASNT ON IT ALL LIKE THAT, I KNOW ALL THE MAIN MEMBERS THOUGH AND I NEED SOME UNBIASED STRANGER OPINIONS PLEASE. ITS 5:18 AM IN USA, I GOT A CALL 3 HOURS THAT MY LIL BRO WAS SENT TO THE HOSPITAL, HE IS 18, HE WENT TO HIS FRIENDS COLLEGE TO VISIT, I THINK SOMEONE DRUGED HIM OR HE JUST HAD TO MUCH TO DRINK BUT HE HAS ALCOHOL POISON, PASSED OUT AMBULANCE RUSHED HIM TO THE HOSPITAL, IT WAS ABOUT A HOUR DRIVE TO GO SEE HIM, WHEN I GOT THERE HE WAS BETTER. AND HE THEN SAID SOMETHING THAT SHOCKED ME..... I ASKED WHAT HAPPENED, HE SAID DAD RAPED ME!  I SAID WHAT?!? ( MY DAD IS CURRENTLY IN A HOSPITAL TOO FOR DIFFERENT REASONS)   I MEANT TONIGHT WHAT HAPPENED. HE SAID I DONT REMEMBER I WAS WITH MY FRIENDS AND ITS ALL BLACK FROM THERE. I ASKED ABOUT WHAT HE SAID ABOUT MY DAD AND SAID IT WAS WHEN I WAS A KID I DON'T WANNA TALK ABOUT IT.  SO AFTER HE WAS DISCHARGED DRIVING A HOUR BACK HOME I ASKED AGAIN. HE SAID IT WAS WHEN HE WAS ABOUT 10 AND HE STARTED CRYING. I TOLD HIM FORGET IT DONT THINK ABOUT JUST GO TO SLEEP.   THIS IS WHERE IT GETS TWISTED WHEN I GOT HOME MY MOM WAS WAITING FOR US AND WHEN MY BROTHER WENT TO BED I TOLD HER WHAT HE TOLD ME ABOUT MY FATHER RAPING HIM. SHE STARTED CRYING AND SAID NO NOT HIM. I ASKED WHAT SHE MEANT SHE SAID MY OLDER SISTER HAD TOLD MY MOM THAT HE RAPED HER TOO BUT MY MOM NEVER BELIEVED IT, THOUGHT MY SISTER WAS USING IT AS A EXCUSE FOR WHY SHE IS THE WAY SHE IS. MY SISTER IS 24 NOW, SHE CLAIMS HE RAPED HER WHEN SHE WAS 15.... I HAVE ANOTHER SISTER THATS MARRIED WITH KIDS THAT SHE BRINGS OVER TO SEE THERE GRANDPA SHE IS 27.   I AM THE OLDEST MALE AND I AM 22, MY FATHER NEVER TRIED ANYTHING WITH ME....IM IN SHOCK TONIGHT. AND DONT WANNA RUIN MY SISTER OR BROTHER ANY WORSE BY GOIN TO COPS AND MAKING IT PUBLIC, BUT GOTTA DO SOMETHING ABOUT MY DEAD BEAT OF A DAD.

That's so painful shit not only because it has to do with a stranger or any set of people but within your own walls you grew up with known as family. Honestly I don't know how to go about this situation thinking "Rational" but getting the cops involve will just bring Court involve an that's a long stressful journey considering they got no evidence in this case.

Think of the options, if you beat him, you can't go to the cops, or worse, he could call them on you. If you hire someone to rob/beat him he could easily end up dead, or kill that person. Bad idea. If the cops find out your involved, worse.

Best bet would be to tell the cops, then he'll get put away and sectioned with rapists and child abusers in prison. He'll more than likely be removed from your house during this time.

If he doesn't get put away, beat his ass and kick him out. I'd use this as the last option though, play your cards, you've got a few choices, but going directly to beating him will knock a few of those choices out of play. Honestly though, if it was me, I'd call the cops. That's the harshest punishment, and he deserves it, if he did it. What's one beating and gettin kicked out? Compared to however many years in prison? Plus you gotta think if he did this twice to his own kids he could easily be doing it or have done it to others. Make sure he gets locked up for it. I dunno the legal system but two witnesses seems like a solid case.

Im in the UK we have different laws, even if the crime was committed years ago, you can still be charged.

Im in Canada our laws are not much different. Rape is a different situation though. You need DNA, semen and all that your not going to find that after years and years plus you have no witnesses only 2 victims.
