98K with no hit singles isn't a massive flop. Game should have sold more but has outsold many recent rap ablums over the past 2 years.

 

Album was great and it had some of Game's best music. Not as good as his 1st 2 but better than LAX and lyrically it's his best album. Had Dre mixed Dead People & Dope, album might have been close to a classic. Rap Album of the year so far.

Gangsta rap is fading for the moment, people who buy hiphop support Eminem, Wayne, Kanye, Jay, Rick Ross just the same old faces.

 

If Game can make a hit single which doesn't involve selling out, he can always come back. Look at Raekwon before Cuban linx 2.

Dreadful sales? 98k is not dreadful and he almost did another 40k second week in. He has had wack promotion from Interscope & still managed to get almost 100 thousand people to cop RED in its first week.
