About Me: My life is all about music in the early 80's Reggae & Rap /Hip Hop and Soul/R&B was the music I was brought up on. The inspiration came from local DJ'S & sound systems like Ninjah Magic,Warzone, A Class, Challenjah Sound, Black Ice,Vybes Squad,etc to many mention and sounds systems from Birmingham like Love Injection & X ta-c 4x4 and Immortal also Sound systems from Jamaica like Stone Love,Renaissance,Cash Money,Bass Odyssey,Killamanjaro,Sound Trooper,Firelinks,Black Kat and Downbeat Sound & Massive B from New York & Mighty Crown from Japan.Selectors like David Rodigan & Tony Matterhorn droping special dubplates & doing sound clash's in England America and Jamaica to see who's the best sound system in the world. I began to start collecting vinyl of all genre's from Reagge R&B & Hip Hop to Rave Jungle Drum & Bass Garage Grime music as a fast learner it did not take long to get involed From early age of 15 around 1991 to 1994 I first started listen to old skool rave tapes like Fantazia,Obsession,Quest,Pandemonium,Dreamscape, & jungle tapes like Jungle Fever,Desert Storm, Roast, Amazon, A.W.O.L, Hysteria, Jungle Rock UK, Ruffneck Ting,One Nation To DJ's like Top Buzz, Ratpack, Eills Dee,Donovan Bad Boy Smith,Fabio,Grooverider,Mickey Finn,Bryan Gee,Roni Size,Jumping Jack Frost,Brockie,Manpi Swift,Kenny Ken,Shy FX, Andy C, DJ SS,DJ Hype,Simon Bassline Smith etc to many to mention And round 1998 to 2006 I started buy & listen UK Garage/Grime tapes/cds like Garage Nation,Sun City,Hysteria,La Costa Nostra,Sidewinder listening to like DJ's EZ,Martin Liberty Larner,Mike Ruff Cut Lloyd,Norris Da Boss Windross,Masterstepz, Principal,Dreem Teem (Spoony Mikee B Timmi Magic), So Solid Crew, Heartless Crew,Pay As You Go,Grime DJ's Cameo,Slimzee,Big Mikee,Maximum,Karnage,Spyro,Vectra,Logan Sama,Rossi B & Luca. And also going to Birmingham & London weekends listing to the pirate radio's like Kool FM,De Ja Vu,Laylow Fm,Rinse Fm,Don Fm,Delight FM, Silk City,Sting FM ,Passion Fm,Vibez FM.
Iam a up & coming DJ trying to break through in the industry.I have been mixing for 14 years at the age of 17 around 1995 by the name DJ Magnum. The music around that time was Jungle/Drum & Bass. Going around friends house's doing mixtapes and playing at local house partys.Back in the day I also played on a local pirate radio station called Krush fm but it did not last long(run by shit management).And I also done a guest mix on another local radio station GFM (Gloucester FM 96.6). And then around 1999 I started to mix UK Garage (2step,4x4,Grime,Dubstep)around 2006 I then changed my name to DJ Magz.

In my spare time I enjoy general socialising with friends playing & watch Football (soccer) DJing (mixing vinyl & cd's) going out on weekends & going to the gym
