About Me: A little about me, Finally, the mixtape presented by Lemarquis Washington" also know as "GM" is finaly being released. After a year of promoting and getting off the ground with new contacts, I feel were ready for distribution. 419 To The 662 was a project that began in the city of Lima, Ohio and ended in Cleveland, Ms. With a wide range of artist that have been recorded by Gansta Marcus, this mixtape only contains a few of the best. Lemarquis Washington himself was born in Cleveland, Ms and raised in Lima, Ohio Started creating music in 2007 as a producer. What I Have Created, I first began the mixtape when I found out I was going to be leaving Ohio and moving home to Mississippi. So I looked around my community and gathered a few young men that were juveniles, use to going to detentions and that sort, and gave them a new chance. I embrased them under my wing, put them in my recording studio, bought a cheap tour down trailer and taught them how to fix it up, became a father figure and a role model for many of them. Which gave me the oppurtunity to work with them one on one in which we created projects. The Final Step Of The Project Once I made it to Mississippi, I knew I had to adapt fast. Slower environment than the city with no diversity to it. It seemed like only a few knew what progress was all about. The mixtape was put on hold for a period of eight months while I got things together Once stable, I began searching for talent on the internet, meeting new people in the area, and getting ready to expand my network. In the end I had two artist, one mixtape, featuring myself. What's the next step? Small rural city, old structured buildings, with a old state of mind. I knew I had to do something knew, so I introduced the music to the Internet. Started signing up for lots of differnt websites, uploading music, pictures, writing blogs, and discussions. Present You Work The website windows live is my gatherer and cvs files. Its quick and convent, carry my email in my pocket on a junk drive, meet a new artist and give them instant exposure, broadcast my video and presentions faster and faster with the most emails I contain.
