To say Kid Springs is a crossover artist would be an understatement.Springs musical training is as unique as his sound, learning how to sing and rap at a very early age. His sound is a hardcore vibe of blending Hip Hop and R&B together this young songwriter does it all. At the young age of 18, Springs has some of music’s biggest names in entertainment Talking about him; with supporters ranging from rap superstar The Game, who has called him a “prodigy” to the famous juicy j from Three 6 Mafia and mixtape Dj’s like hot 97 own the Drama king Dj kayslay, Dj Green lantern, Cutmaster c and many more…”. This quadruple threat artist not only has the complete package but also brings the let’s make money attitude that helps him connect with his audience.

Despite his success, things haven't always come easy for the artist. Born in the Bronx, springs was raised in Washington projects, where by age 6, friends and family had already recognized his talent. At age 8, shortly after he began to know how to write a song format and he was singing and raping in talent shows all over the network city. Areas like Brooklyn, Harlem, queens, the Bronx and Staten Island.
Kid springs says he got in to music because of his father his father use to sing and rap in talent shows as well so he just happen to pick it up so u know what they say
Like father like son. Everything was going good for kid springs until his life hit a turning point. His father died when he was like around 9 years old. He said after his father died he thought he could never do music again he would just seat there and think. But he said one day something just pop in to his head. Then he said since my father didn’t finish his dream I will finish mine. So he pick up a pen and a pad and he used his father’s death as inspiration to write his first real song.

A couples years past and his goal was set he wanted to go to do music and go to school. Springs attendant junior high school c.i.s 148 within them 3 years he spent
There. One day after school he meet a young producer who loved music by the name of rickbeats. When the first time rickbeats heard springs rap he was wow this kid has talent so they started working together every since. That same year springs worked on his first mixtape ever is was called ghetto America it had 16 tracks when him and Rick drop the mixtape his name was buzzing I mean everybody in the hood was asking about him like who is this kid his fire. Now. months go bye and everybody
Asking when is he gonna come out with a next one.He was telling everybody soon
But that’s when things started heating up with school and his producer.
He couldn’t really write song that much cause he had test and this was his last year in junior high school. And then what’s make is so bad ha can’t even get back it the studio his producer was mad because he was suppose to sell the cds but he just gave a lots of them out….
So he just thought imma just Finish up school and then get back on the music

With that goal in mind springs was accepted to Theodore Roosevelt high School
In the Bronx. That when he step in to another world. As a freshmen he use to have rap battles in the lunchroom where he use to loose ever single day to bigger and better people so he use to go home something new come back to school and still lose. Then he just started getting better and better then soon as he look he was beating ever body he was battleing then he seen he was so go at it. He took it all over then he started doing street battles for money and winning almost ever single battle. That when he mixed his battling skulls with his song writing skills then he became the artist that his Is today
