- Meechie G was born Demetrius Lamar Mcqueen june 21 1980 on the west side of Chicago in Lorretta hospital on the first day of summer. with an uncle as the local neighborhood dj & by having a best friend who's dad is a successful music producer, music has always been in Meechie G's grasp. A confessed music lover & admirer of technology Meechie G says"music has always been his best friend & older brother" since he was born the oldest of 3. Reclining in an office lounger as he rolls a swisher on a shoe box top, Meechie G blurts out how that he debates with himself about what was the first hip hop tape he ever owned. Smiling (only as he can) he utters " i cant remember if it was Geto boys till death do us part or 2pac strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.A.Z. he then goes on to say that he frequently listened to Biggie, 3-6 mafia,spice 1,mc eiht,bone thugs e-40,U.G.K.,dre snopp and a host of others. But what drew Meechie g to the rap game was the fans, popularity & the chance to be able to take care of his family the way he wanted to. He says people sometimes question his motives, but to the naysayers he throws a sharp grin while saying proudly that he's the true hip hop messiah so beware of the truth. Following the release of "Trapped out" and "Bonnie & clyde 2" Meechie G is back in the game with his latest relese "You dont know bout me" which is a collect of songs throughout 2007 & 2008. Next up on hiss plate are the 2 highly anticipate mixtapes with his comrades Dro & T-dro featured on the hits "she killin me" & "Bounce back".Quickly he says also be on the lookout for his next solo projects"Born a soldier" & The Godfather, which he plans on releasing in late 2009.
