Behind The Scenes @ The Game's "Celebration" Video Shoot!

There’s nothing like a summertime cookout and who better to host an old-fashioned Southern Cali barbecue than The Game? On Friday (August 24) MTV News hung out with the “Hate It or Love It” MC on the set of the music video for his newly-released “Celebration” single, which features Chris Brown, Tyga, Lil Wayne, and Wiz Khalifa.

The clip which was shot in a Los Angeles-area park, depicts just another day in the life of the Compton-born rapper. Game is caught chillin’, partying in the sun, barbecuing burgers (yes, Game actually ate one at lunch), and drinking 40’s with his friends, family, and of course, plenty of beautiful women.

Just as advertised the video was indeed a celebration as girls dressed in skimpy jean shorts and swimsuit tops played volleyball in their heels. There was definitely some on-set excitement when one of the models lost her top, in a moment reminiscent of the famous scene from Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg’s “Nuthin’ but a ‘G’ Thang” video.

Despite the heat, Game looked hot as ever in a green backwards cap and his signature Ray Bans shades. With the infectious song playing in the background, you really felt like you were at a friend’s backyard kickback.

The song, which samples Bone Thugs-N-Harmony’s “1st of tha Month”, is the perfect end-of-summer jam and we can’t wait to see how the rest of the video with Game’s all-star roster turns out.
