if game and jay were on the same level as lyricst then why is it that game cant get fans to buy his album....game can rap...but hes not a great artist....hip-hop is more then just rapping and being lyricist..u have to be able to sell urself or ur brand....this is n noway a good move/beef for him.....i like game but i like jay-z better...and as for the 50cent comment....u tell me who came out better 50cent has not had a failed album yet...(beside t.o.s)..and by the way (*cough cough THE CURTIS ALBUM sold 4 million records) what di games post g-unit records do combined..NUMBERS DONT LIE....

This is actually a good move for Game.

It's not like any Jay-Z fans are suddenly gonna decide not to buy R.E.D. Most Jay-Z fans already dislike Game, and the ones that are fans of both don't really care about the beef anyway.

Plus, Game is clearly as good a lyricist as Jay-Z over a much shorter period of time. This would be the only "real" beef Game has been in because everyone else he took on either couldn't rap as well as Game (*cough cough Curtis) or weren't nearly as famous (Ras Kass).
